ANIMAL MAGIC returned in the evening to do a show and allow the children of KIDS ALIVE to explore animals a little more. The highlight for many was the rats that climbed all over Cpt Sue and Lt Nicola - very special indeed. Again it was great to see such happy children and over 40 gathered for this special occasion. Thanks Cpt Sue for arranging all this for us.
ANIMAL MAGIC were guests at Chatt-a-Box, our parent and toddler groups, to give children and their parents/carers opportunities to enjoy looking at animals and enjoying exploring them a little more. It was a great morning and especially to see so much excitement among the children - and more so the adults in some situations!
The Home Leaguers enjoyed an afternoon tea together, complete with flowers and classical music!
Capturing some of the special moments of our bi-monthly sunday feast

Monday 28th April

The divisional commander, Lieutenant-Colonel Anthony Cotterill, conducted a review of the corps rolls today and then led a gathering of the corps pastoral care council/leadership team. The meeting reflective very healthy growth and development.

Sunday 27th March

Another full hall gathered together for a day of worship and reflection. We started our day by considering whether we had clean hands - and that was the challenge of Captain Susan from Psalm 24 throughout the morning. Captain Ian led worship which included songs:- Have you been to Jesus?; Would you be free? If on my soul; Thank You for Saving me; My robes are washed in Jesus' Blood; Purify my heart; Give me a Holy Life. Captain Susan looked at how we sometimes worry so much about the outside and forget the inside is that which we are judged on.

Following this, over eighty people sat and enjoyed SUNDAY FEAST, a bi-monthly opportunity to build relationships with each other and invite our friends to a good meal, and then a talk or presentation. Captain Susan did the talk this month, and shared her life story, of how despite so many difficulties and challenges, God has brought her through. In this story she shared songs and pictures and very wise and moving words. We could have listened forever.

Another great day together!

Saturday 26th March

We held a stall at the local market. We raised just over £100. We are grateful for the craft club who headed up this outreach
