Cadet Mark Cotterill will be with us again this Sunday leading our meeting. Do come and share with us at 10.30am.
Joshua Robert Crawford. The funeral service was held today for Joshua Robert Crawford, a young 22 year old. Our worship hall was packed with over 100 people gathering together for this special meeting, and then  a smaller number for the committal at Worthing Crematrorium. Our thoughts and prayers remain with mum, Sandra, dad, Carey, and his sisters, aunties, uncles, grandparents and more..... Joshua used to attend The Salvation Army Sunday School a number of years ago.

Following our recent corps council meeting, we are pleased to announce a new Sunday Evening meeting, being held on the first Sunday in the month from March. We start at 6.30pm. We will over an hour, look at parts of the Bible and how they relate to us, and share some discussion, as well as sharing prayer and some worship together as well. Its about being together....... so come together with us.

Sunday 24th January - what a special Sunday we shared together. We were pleased that Majors Telfer, from THQ, were able to come, despite two weeks before having to be cancelled because of weather. Major Carol spoke in the morning, taking the theme of Covenant, from this years Commitment Sunday Material. During this meeting a number knelt before God, and we also welcomed Kofi as an adherent member. In a few words, he thanked the family for accepting him and thanked God for the church. Captain Ian conducted the enrolement. Songs included I Believe in God the Father; Over all the earth; I have no claim on grace; All I Once held dear; Dear Lord I do surrender.

We held our first SUNDAY FEAST today - events we will be holding when we have special guests with us. This includes a meal together, and then a feast on teaching, sharing, fellowship etc. Major Ivor saw this meeting through, which also Major Carol shared a little of their officership which has taken them into various parts of the world. Major Ivor gave some teaching on mission and the importance of reaching out to others. About 30 people gathered together for this, and we had a really special time.

A good number gathered today last Friday for the evening we hosted prayer for the Unity Week. Captain Ian led this. The Unity Service was held on Sunday evening, at St Marys Parish Church. It was an excellent service and we thank God for this opporutnity of meeting together with other brother and sisters in Christ,
